I find taking photos of the troops serves as a useful tool. They benchmark what has been completed and certainly display the vacancies that need attending; all of which no longer seems a chore. For example, the tricolour must be replaced with the older version for 1808, more command figures need to be added and transport and supply will need attention.

Dragoons and a number of foreign regiments are on the way and that should complete the French. The British, Portuguese and insurgents should arrive soon and next month I shall be busy with them and designing the two campaigns for Portugal.

Bases for all infantry are 40mm x 20mm, all mounted are 40mm x 30mm and all artillery are 40mm x 40mm; bases are triplex wood 1.5mm thick. Bases are textured with a sand-white glue mix, painted and flocked with electrostatic grass.
