This hobby and vacations do not mix well.

This project has lain dormant for three weeks now, partly due to a nice vacation and a fantasy campaign that will be served up for the club next week. 

Looking at my list of ACW projects, figures and map are not a problem, but I need to make temporary fortifications for the Battle ofLexington, namely breastworks and earthworks.

At the moment bases are cut and materials gathered for breastworks, these being hastily gathered logs, stones and shallow pits. For game purposes, these need only be symbolic and cover the frontage of an element of foot.
