The Prussians were recently refurbished, reorganised, rebased and ready for combat. The miniatures are Old Glory 15mm painted 25 years ago. Referring to Old Glory’s catalogue, a number of poses are no longer available for which I feel fortunate.
In the
first photo, there are 8 battalions of infantry and a collection of Jaeger
companies. In the second there are 3 battalions of grenadiers, 3 battalions of
fusiliers flanked by a Frei battalion, bringing some variation to the
collection.
The cavalry seen here represent 2 regiments of cuirassiers, 2 regiments of dragoons and 2 regiments of hussars. There number may seem weak, however, there are another 30 elements in need of rebasing to increase their number two-fold. The Austrian collection have a similar number of extras, but both armies will need to wait and see what develops with the final army.
Finally, the artillery, at the moment 6 battalion guns and 4 heavier pieces.
Prussian Generals; 6 for the infantry, 4 for the cavalry and Der Alte Fritz.
