The last batch include the rocket artillery, fire siphons and crew, sabretooth tigers and handlers, a few general officers. Not many, but these will necessitate some amount of creativity. For one, I do like the elevated levels and will duplicate this on the newer bases. The original basing was thin and for a number of elements warpage became a problem; that has not been the case with the 1.5mm thick basswood.
In the photo, there are two magicians/wizards that will find new employment as they are to be replaced by other figures. Searching boxes of painted armies, I found Elven Witches. These were intended for use as skirmishers with a Celtic army, that army is now complete but without the skirmishers. The figures are Demonworld, most likely my painting skills were not up to snuff to finish painting them, but that has changed since.
I do not expect photos of the complete army to be posted earlier than mid-July as there are many small tasks that need doing before photos can be made. To date, the newly painted are on their new bases, but these lack texturing, flocking and grass tufts. Before that, 20 flags must be painted and fixed to the command stands. After three batches I found a skin colour that works well for 15mm. This means the faces and hands of 100 figures will need re-doing.
Cheers,

These are coming along very well indeed. I look forward to seeing the army in all its glory come July or so.
Re-doing the specialist units has offered a chance to experiment with other colour schemes; this will be useful as I have saved the witches for last.
The project is not yet finished and the imagination is already planning the addition of some units.
Lancers would be nice and a wing or two of flyers would supply air support as an example.
